It's been a bit slow for me on the upper coast so I decided to head out to one of my old stomping gounds to fish for something to put in the freezer. I headed to Baffin Bay and spent the night on a shoreline just waiting to see what happend. Just before midnight Ronnie's rod took off and was first to catch a really nice 30" red that he decided to use this years tag on. Good fish Ronnie! Around 2:30 in the morning Anthony spotted his rod go off and after a good fight on 15# test he was able to put this 37-1/2" red on shore. NOT bad for bay caught fish. Later that moring I landed these two 28 and 27-7/8" redfish. We caught several other redfish, drum and trout but only kept the big ones. ALL fish were legally tagged of course. Did I mention we also caught a bunch of those pesky hardheads? Wannabe I forgot to check out the cabins. Next trip! I thank GOD for the blessings he gives this family and friends.
